Discussion Group: Poetry Reading with Jennifer Wong

In this online reading, Jennifer Wong read from her recent collection 回家 Letters Home (Nine Arches Press), which has been named the Wildcard Choice for Spring 2020 by Poetry Book Society. Drawing from different cultural, historical and linguistic worlds, these poems examine what it means to be returning home, whether it is a return to a location, a country or to a shared dream or language. There will be a Q&A following the reading.

Before the poetry reading, from 12.30-1pm, we had a short welcome session where individuals briefly introduced themselves. We were keen to stay connected at this time of social distancing!

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jennifer Wong is the author of several collections including Goldfish (Chameleon Press) and a pamphlet, Diary of a Miu Miu Salesgirl (Bitter Melon Poetry 2019).
