One of the major aims of Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation (OCCT) this coming year is to encourage graduates to think about their research within a comparative context and to create a vibrant OCCT graduate community. We had a welcome event on the 12th of October (Wednesday), 5:15-7:15 in the Seminar Room of the Radcliffe Humanities building. The event was relaxed and informal (with free wine!) where we briefly discussed OCCT's Michaelmas programme, the OCCT discussion group, and OCCT Review. Students also got to meet the new organising group!
