I am a DPhil candidate at the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages. My thesis examines the role of translation and multimodality in Julien Green and Paul Bowles’ lives and artistic production. Before starting my doctoral studies, I worked in the commercial translation industry for several years and completed the MSt in Comparative Literature and Critical Translation at the University of Oxford in 2020. My broader research interests include translation, multilingual expression and life-writing, with a focus on twentieth-century literature. I co-convene the OCCT Discussion Group and I am the Academic Mentor for the MSt in Comparative Literature and Critical Translation (CLCT) programme.
