I am a DPhil candidate in History of Art at the University of Oxford, writing my thesis on the early history of photography. Currently I cooperate with the Museum of Kharkiv School of Photography (MOKSOP) as an academic editor and translator of their series on the history and theory of photography. Within this series, I translated Roland Barthes’ “La Chambre Claire. Note sur la photographie.” Previously, I received my master’s degree in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts in New York. I worked as a curator of contemporary art in a number of institutions, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art (USA), Izolyatsia. Platform for Cultural Initiatives (Donets, Ukraine), and Videonale. Festival of Video Art in Kunstmuseum Bonn (Germany) and Spencer Museum of Art in Kansas (USA).
