Mary Katherine Newman

Mary Katherine Newman is a final year DPhil student in Medieval and Modern Languages (Spanish). Her research focuses on the five senses in early colonial accounts of Spanish America and, in particular, Chile. She is broadly interested in the translation of epic poetry and also comparative Indigenous literature.
